The story of Astronomy.sg.

So, the International Year of Astronomy 2009 arrived and with it, a long list of events prepared. And one day, it hit me: perhaps it’s just me, but I’ve never been able to keep track of all the Astronomy happenings every year. With each year, we’ve more stargazings, talks, lectures, competitions, field trips and perhaps even outings to a coffee shop. “This could be easier,” I thought. “And much cooler.”

Astronomy.sg was created by Derek Low, and is co-maintained by Soh Rong’en. Currently, Derek is serving hamburgers his nation. Meanwhile, Rong’en plays with squirrels. In his free time, Derek is a Ninja Turtle.
