Want to know more about our Moon? As the Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner (19th September this year), SCOBbers will talk about the cultural and scientific aspects of the Moon. With the help of computer simulations, pictures and videos, you will never see the Moon the same way again! A general description of the night sky this month will be discussed as well. Join the SCOBbers in this short yet enriching talk!

Mid-Autumn Stargazing in the Park

Mid Autumn

Venue: Bishan - Ang Mo Kio Park (River Plains). At open grounds around McDonald's.

Date & Time: Saturday, 14th September, from 7:00pm till late night.

Cost: Free of Charge. Open to public.



Observe planets, stars and the mid-autumn Moon through telescopes. Take photos of a magnified Moon with your mobile phone. Learn more about amateur astronomy from the friendly telescope volunteers.

Event is totally weather dependent and may be cancelled last minute due to bad weather.
