Shell Astro Challenge / Shell Astro Nite

Astronomy.SG is working closely with Science Centre Singapore to organise the inaugural Shell Astro Challenge & Shell Astro Nite.
To fulfil its objectives, Shell Astro Nite seeks the collaboration of schools, astronomy clubs, teachers and students to embark on a nationwide socio-educational event that aims to outreach to as many laypeople, new to Astronomy, as possible. To participate in the challenge, participating schools will have to organise a night sky-observing event at their own campus on 15 and/or 29 May 2009. In addition, public would have free access to Science Centre Singapore on this day to participate in the telescope viewing activity, plus other activities related to the theme on Astronomy.
