Every year in March-April, RI(JC) and HCI jointly organize Astrigue Convention and Challenge, a two-part program which first equips students with necessary background in Astronomy, then pits them in a competition of trivia and conceptual knowledge application. If you are new to Astronomy, this is a great way to learn more!

2013's Astrigue Convention was held on 6th and 13th April at HCI (College), and Astrigue Challenge on 20th April at RI (JC). For more information, contact the organizers at astrigue2013 [at] gmail.com.

Singapore Space Apps Challenge

Location: Microsoft, 1 Marina Boulevard, 22nd Floor

The International Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaboration focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in cities around the world. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. NASA is leading this global collaboration along with a number of additional government collaborators and 100+ local partner organizations.

Singapore Space Challenge 2013

SSCHave you ever wanted to build a space plane, or a satellite? What about a robot that can mine asteroids? Here's your chance to turn your ideas into real designs at the Singapore Space Challenge! All Secondary School and Tertiary students are invited to form teams of 4-7 and register their intention to participate by 5th April 2013.

UPDATE: Deadline has been extended to 3rd May 2013
